Pansyland was a passion project built out of a project that started in 2020 that was called Game Changers. Game Changers dreamt up during a one-on-one session with Jacob Boheme when Jill attended the Volcano Conservatory. Jill wanted this project to investigate the question, is it possible to design a game that helps folks to decolonize their lives? After receiving support from Native Earth’s 40 Seeds for 40 Seasons and then Keep Good (Theatre) Company’s Germination 2.0 program Jill was able to write, discuss, contemplate, build, and share in community where she learnt two main things were part of the answer to this question. Yes it is possible when play and rest are involved. After working with Waylon Lenk at the PUSH Festival’s Dramaturgy Program, Jill learnt that this was actually a kids show! Luckily, at the time Jill was working with a. Group of 15 kids at Ray Cam community centre who could help her build a show that kids would actually enjoy. Jill asked the kids what they enjoyed, and she would go away and build parts of the show then get their opinion. So together with the kid of Ray Cam Community Centre, Jill built an immersive show that helps kids learn how to calm their nervous systems and remember how to play! It premiered at the Vancouver Kids Fringe in September 2025, had a run at a local school and was generously supported by the BCAC.

Play and rest was at the centre of many of the answers to this question.

Join the ride of this 25 year old who’s trying to navigate all parts of life; identity, career, dating, existentialism, and much more. Sweaty, Bloated, and Stressed is a 53 minute expression of the life of Jill Goranson (writer & performer), who unfortunately can equate her life with being a flight with Flair airlines- uncomfortable, unreliable and well… often disappointing.
Through story & improvised song, this musical stand-up comedy show is bound to leave you giggling. People who haven’t seen the show yet have come up to Jill in her mind saying “Wow Jill- that was SO funny!
